Allison Derschang is a Senior Associate Attorney at Kukreja McFarlane Law, where she represents clients across all aspects of divorce and parental responsibility matters — including asset division, child custody, financial negotiations, and protection orders. She is driven by the tangible, positive impact her work has on the lives of the people she represents.

Allison earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2016 and her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Denver in 2011. While in law school she was selected to D.U.'s highly ranked National Trial Team, where she competed nationally and was coached by Kyle McFarlane and Kevin Keyes.

Prior to focusing her practice on family law, Allison was an employment litigator at a Centennial, Colorado business law firm, gaining trial experience in both state and federal courts on matters including discrimination, wage, and non-competition disputes. She has also successfully litigated fraud, replevin, partition, and relocation matters on behalf of her clients.

Patricia Martin is an Associate Attorney at Kukreja McFarlane Law, where she represents clients across complex divorce, custody, and parental responsibility matters. She is proud of the part she plays in helping people build an independent future after living through family litigation.

Patricia earned her Juris Doctor with a Certificate in Child and Family Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2020. She also holds a Master of Science in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French and Francophone Studies from Loyola Marymount University. As an immigrant from Spain, she is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

Prior to joining the firm, Patricia practiced complex divorce at a Denver-area family law firm and previously practiced immigration law, assisting immigrants and families through the immigration process. During law school she clerked at a Chicago family law firm, served on the Civitas Childlaw Center fellowship, and was a senior editor on the Children's Legal Rights Journal.

Lindsey Peterson is an associate attorney who represents clients in divorce, parental responsibility, child support, and other family law matters. She brings extensive litigation experience and a practical, thoughtful approach to helping clients navigate complex legal issues and achieve favorable outcomes for themselves and their families.

Prior to entering private practice, Lindsey gained extensive litigation experience across a variety of practice areas. Her experience includes litigating dependency and neglect and child support matters, including high-conflict cases and matters involving domestic violence, as well as litigating high asset and complex property valuation and real property tax matters. Lindsey also served as a deputy district attorney where she handled a broad range of criminal and juvenile matters and gained extensive courtroom and trial experience. Through her work, she has developed substantial experience litigating complex statutory, evidentiary, and valuation issues and advocating for clients in challenging and highly contested matters.

Lindsey earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2018 and her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2014. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she teaches trial advocacy, and has previously served in leadership with the Colorado Bar Association’s Juvenile Law Section.

Maddie Maynor is an associate attorney at KM Law. She focuses her practice on all aspects of divorce and parental responsibility matters, including asset division, child custody, financial negotiations, and protection orders.

Maddie earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2026, graduating with a concentration in advocacy. During law school, she was a member of the National Trial Team, where she developed the courtroom skills and trial advocacy experience that shaped her approach to client representation today. Maddie also spent a summer clerking for Magistrate Hubler on a domestic relations docket in the Denver County District Court, gaining firsthand insight into how judges approach family law matters and the litigation process.

Before becoming an attorney, Maddie built a strong foundation at KM Law, first serving as a paralegal and later as a law clerk. As a paralegal, she honed the case management skills — organizing complex files, tracking deadlines, coordinating discovery, and keeping matters moving efficiently — that now allow her to excel as an attorney. This progression gave her a deep, practical understanding of the firm's cases and clients well before her admission to the bar, and it reflects her long-standing commitment to the firm and the people it serves.

Maddie is admitted to practice in Colorado. Outside of the office, she enjoys musical theater and rooting for the Denver Broncos.
